about us

City Life Church, Cambridge

Planted in 1994 with only 3 people, City Life Church now has a congregation of around 80.

We exist to release the potential of our communities – whether families and colleagues, the estates in which we live, or fellow students – we are about seeing individuals and groups becoming everything that God intended them to be.

Our main corporate gatherings are on Sunday afternoon, although we enjoy expressing church in many different ways together.

Midweek we meet in cells; groups of up to 12 people exploring worship, community and mission together.

The three main communities in Cambridge that we are reaching as a church are:

Students – we have been instrumental in starting, building and continuing to lead Fusion cell groups in the University.

Family, friends and colleagues – the majority of the church are young families who want to see Jesus impact those around them at home and work.

King’s Hedges – we have a sustained work with young people and other residents in the north of the city, including youth events and the annual Summer Blast.

We have also planted a new church in Luton and hope to plant more.

City Life Church is part of the Plumbline family of churches, a registered charity (no. 1069846), and a member of the Evangelical Alliance. We partner nationally with Fusion and 24-7 Prayer, and work locally with many other churches.
