City Life Church, Cambridge started 24 years ago with a vision, passion and boldness to do something risky. It's been a blast, and like everything worthwhile, it's been difficult as well as joyous. Still, we see God has brought our time to an end. As of June 10th CLC Cambridge will disperse, sending our final number out to change the world--the mission God gave us right from the very start. Thank you to everyone who's joined the amazing adventure! There is so much to be grateful for. We still identify as family and we remain friends as we enjoy finding out what God has for us all next. --Kevin, Tom, Lyn & Tim
Last of the Summer Barbecue & Plans for the Autumn
The first sunday of October played host to CLC’s student welcome barbecue on Jesus Green and we lucked out on probably the last barbecue-able day of the year. It was a real pleasure to all get outside as a church community, welcome newcomers (amongst others) to the city, and have some really tasty barbecue from our resident Texan chef!
If you’re new to the city, but missed the welcome barbecue, you’re still more than welcome this Sunday 12th October at St. Andrew’s hall for our Sunday service. We’re kicking off a new teaching series on ‘The Big Story’ – aiming to cover the overarching story of the Bible in just five talks! This will be particularly good if you’re new to Christianity and want to explore it.
(re)create, the students & young adults group, is open to all newcomers and will be providing more time & space to grow in our five ‘core values’ of community, word, mission, worship and creativity. Dates and times on the website calendar!
